Members of the Heavy Construction Association of Toronto (HCAT) do a lot of literal heavy lifting to help grow our province. That spirit of heavy lifting inspires HCAT members off the job site to give back to the community and help.
HCAT members were at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto to celebrate a monumental gift of $250,000 to the SickKids Foundation in support of rebuilding Sick Kids Hospital. The donation will be used towards creating a new cancer treatment room and HCAT will also be providing construction themed toys to the play area for the children.
HCAT members joined staff and patients at the hospital to raise awareness about the hospital’s rebuilding plans and to renew the world-leading pediatric care for another generation. The progress made is incredible.
RCCAO members salute HCAT for this gift giving back and the spirit of building things up that drives so much of our industry.
